Bennett). The family lived in Pulaski, Russell and Adair Co. Children were born from 1833-1857. GW went to school at Danville and Georgetown Academies. I was told he was buried in Irvington Ky (Breckinridge Co) in the Carter Cemetery but when I visited no one knew of Carter Cemetery. He maried Mary Ann "Polly" Raybourn. She may have died about 1858 since she does not appear on the 1860 Census. His father was Thomas I Carter who was Killed during war of 1812. I do not know where he is buried but he was born in "Old Dominion".

Need info on Temple Priest who was divorced from his wife, Sophia, abt 1840's. He remarried and she may have. A Sophia Priest lived in Breckenridge or Hardin Co later, with a family. Sometimes she was listed as Sophia Ford, but No man was in the household. Am interested in any Priests in central Ky. Need marriage info on Ed Blankenship and Mary Ann Priest who married abt 1850. Can anyone look it up in Jefferson Co records without too much trouble. I would be happy as a lark to find their marriage. He died in 1907 and there are just no records of dates yet found on either of them. Thanks.
