If you woke up today in better health than illness ... you are
more blessed than many who won't live through the week.
If you haven't faced the dangers of battle, gone through the loneliness
of imprisonment, felt the agony of torture or suffered pangs of starvation
you haven't felt what millions of people in the world have felt.
If you can go to your church without fearing harassment,
arrest, torture, or death ... you have blessings that millions of
people in this world don't have, or freedom to do themselves.
If you have food in refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof
overhead or place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of the
people in world, who are without some of these basic things.
If you have money in bank, in your wallet, and spare change in
a dish someplace ... you are among 8% of world's wealthiest
people, because many people just exist and have nothing.
If your parents are alive, and still married ... you are very rare,
even in the United States, because many have neither alive
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and you are
thankful ... this is real blessing, since most of us can, but don't.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them, and touch them on
the shoulder ... you are blessed ... you can offer God's healing
touch to all those you love, and that you come in contact with.
If you can read this message you received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you ... you are more blessed than over two billion people in our world who can't read
at all.
